About Us
About Purbanchal University
The establishment of Purbanchal University in 1993 was visualized as an extraordinary endeavour by the Government of Nepal to create an academic centre of excellence in the Eastern Development Region of Nepal. Its prime role was outlined to act as a catalytic agent for the promotion of socio-economic transformation in Nepal through quality education appropriate for quality life and sustainable future. Since its establishment, the university is motivated by its fundamental objective of preserving, refining, inventing, adopting, extending and transmitting knowledge in an environment that fosters free enquiry and open scholarly debate, leading to all-encompassing development of the rural people and their economies and environment.

Welcome to the website of Purbanchal University Office of the Examination Management.
As the main aim of any ideal educational institution is to provide quality education; PU also has been providing quality education to the mass and PU Examination office has been regulating the provided education while enduring self sustenance and good governance. The Office of the Examination being the key department and custodian of examination records provides quality service to the students in all spheres of examination matters which include conducting final examinations, compilation and declaration of results, preparation of grade sheets and degrees as well as arranging the convocation. It is our responsibility to keep the aforementioned processes efficient and transparent with integrity, secrecy and quality service.
The Office of the examination strictly follows the Examination rules and regulations approved by the Academic Council and the Executive Council of the University. I firmly believe that authenticity, quality and control are the fundamental principles of our office. By the virtue of earnest involvement and dedication in the examination matters, I am pleased that Office of the Examination plays a vital role to ensure the mission of the University.
